Bequia My Bequia

Just had to add this picture. This was taken on the island of Bequia, which is part of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. It's taken from the Muskito Beach Bar at Friendship Bay Hotel on the eastern side of Bequia.

We stayed in Bequia for 10 days in April 2004 and April 2005. Our accommodations where at a house called Casablanca which sits right at the bottom of the steep main road hill going into the Lower Bay area. The house is managed by Burt and Kay King who happen to own Kingsville Apartments.

If you have never been to Bequia, I highly recommend it. What a great vacation.

Hi Sunniebg.
Just saw your answer on answerbag re: booking an agent. I (scubabob)wasn't the one posting the question, just answering from past experience. "Canned" is an appropriate term or "packaged" perhaps better. I've simply found that I have greater flexibility doing it on my own and have saved money I could use later on the trip. I understand that you make your income from people wanting a packaged trip. For some, cruising is not their cup of tea or being on a "cattleboat" as divers call them. Same with bus tours or other grouped excursions. Personal lifestyle choice :)
Cheers and seeing as you are in travel and tourism, you must know Peter Roch over in Holetown at west side scuba (seems everyone I know in hospitality there does), give him a hiya from Rob in Canada for me.
Cheers
